“The Kosh Project is a personal space built around stories, music, and art. The things that quietly shape how we experience the world.“
The Kosh Project is created and maintained by Vedant Bhonsle (@stotraa), a practitioner of art with a deep interest in music, visual culture, and storytelling.
This space reflects a personal way of listening and observing; collecting fragments that resonate and placing them together over time. It is not meant to define meaning for others, but simply to share what feels worth keeping.
If something here speaks to you, then the collection has already served its purpose.
The name kosh came to my mind when i heard about marathi word for dictionary. in marathi its called shabdakosh(शब्दकोश). later i found out that its derived from sanskrit. kosh as in mean collection. and in a way this is my collection. collection of thoughts. collection of music. collection of arts.
Right now, it is my personal abode. a space to keep the things that resonate with me. Over time, I hope it grows into something larger. Not necessarily bigger in size, but richer in the collection it holds and the people who find something meaningful in it.
It isn’t.
Though if something like that slips out once in a while, do pardon me.That’s sometimes how one ends up speaking about the things they love. This project was never meant to be that. I am not a critic, not a reviewer, and certainly not a custodian or gatekeeper of what should or shouldn’t matter. This is simply my place to be myself with the things that resonate with me.
Things that resonate with me. Music, stories, and art. It isn’t constrained to one form or feeling. Some things may be sad, some joyful. Some might be quirky, some a little strange. But all of it appears here for the same reason: they are things I felt like sharing, not in an artificial way, but in an authentic way, in my own voice.
Because it is the one thing I resonate with the most.
Since childhood I have been surrounded by it; listening to it, playing it, living with it. Over the years it has slowly become an integral part of my life. Not a single day passes without my ears finding some form of music. A sound, a rhythm, a melody somewhere along the way. In many ways, music is the thing that keeps me alive.
That would be wonderful, and it would surely make this space more than what it is right now. But for the moment, I want to keep the collection personal and maintain it myself. Who knows what the future holds.
